At Virginia Sterling, we believe a successful American business is defined not only by the products it produces but also by the manner in which the company operates. To this end, we take seriously our obligation to conduct all aspects of our business with respect for the environment, and the communities in which we live and work.

As a member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council, we are committed to continually monitoring and improving our material consumption and processes to reduce our impact on the world around us. Our business is inherently sustainable as high quality, solid wood furniture is rarely disposed of and meant to last a lifetime and beyond.

We purchase only the finest American harvested lumber for our products – insisting that each supplier adhere to strict national and state forestry guidelines and regulations. In addition, we are continually looking for new ways to reduce our environmental impact through the purchase of reconditioned machinery and equipment, recycling of plant and office materials, and the monitoring of all resources in and out of our operation.

We are keenly aware that the prosperity of Virginia Sterling is directly linked to the prosperity of our employees and local community.
